The Masters Extra Thin and Thin cymbals are not labeled as crashes or rides so the musician can choose how to use them in a way that suits their needs. The Extra Thins are buttery and soft feeling while giving a choice of crash or ride applications. Likewise, the Masters Thin can move from delicate ride playing to warm, full crashing and back with no trouble. The Thin Hi-Hats are sweet and warm without being trashy. The PSTX Swiss Thin Crash has an explosive, but controlled China-type sound to round out the voices on this set.
