Made by hand in Bend, Oregon, the Breedlove Oregon Concertina E Myrtlewood Acoustic-Electric Guitar is a fantastic instrument when it comes to playability and sound. Crafted with all-solid myrtlewood and featuring Breedlove's exclusive Concertina body and Sound Optimized Tonewoods, the Oregon Concertina E Myrtlewood also comes ready to perform thanks to LR Baggs EAS VTC electronics. For those guitarists looking for that small body feel and sound but do not want to give up the balance and volume of a larger guitar, the Oregon Concertina E is perfect for the advanced at home player all the way up to the professional gigging musician.

Magnificent Myrtlewood
The star of the Oregon Series instruments, myrtlewood is an absolutely breathtaking tonewood that's grown along the Pacific Coast of Oregon. Aesthetically, myrtlewood showcases a striking figure that gives each guitar in the series a unique visual character. Tonally, it offers the perfect blend of some of the most widely used guitar tonewoods: rosewood, mahogany, and maple. This provides a lively, well-balanced voice with plenty of lows, highs, and mids. Since it's a denser wood than Sitka spruce, Breedlove is able to sand the myrtlewood tops thinner to produce an even livelier sound with unparalleled projection.

Exclusive Concertina Body with Breedlove Sound Optimized Tonewoods
Featuring Breedlove's exclusive Concertina body, a 12-fret design, and a shorter 25" scale length, the Oregon Concertina E offers the exceptional player comfort you'd expect from a parlor guitar but with added volume and tonal balance. Due to a variation in wood density, Breedlove has utilized exclusive technology in order to individually assess every top and back of their USA made guitars. Based on what they find, each assessed top will be sanded to optimized and individual thicknesses in order to achieve maximum balance, tone, and volume. Paired with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid myrtlewood back & sides, this Oregon Concertina E offers incredible overtones and exceptional tonal warmth.

LR Baggs EAS VTC Electronics
The Oregon Concertina E comes equipped from the factory with LR Baggs EAS VTC electronics, which makes this instrument a perfect choice for stage and studio work. Delivering superb, natural-sounding amplified sound, the Element pickup featured here was designed to reflect the actual movement of the top when you play while capturing the guitar's most subtle nuances.
