I am shocked by how loud this thing is on a 4x10 or 4x12. I can easily be heard over our drummer, plus this thing is super easy to travel with. I wish it had a cleaner sounds but when you turn it up you hear just a bit of grain. Great for practice and jam sessions. probably could work well in a small bar setting but I doubt I would use it in a large venue. Great for guitar players taking that next step in the gear department but maybe don't have the capital for a 50w-100w head. still, for the price this thing is revolutionary and Orange makes the coolest looking gear out there!

Was trying to find the perfect small amp for bedroom use. And this Micro-terror fits the budget, fits in my room, and has a classic crunch tone when you start turning up the gain. If I had to recommend a cheap amp head, the Micro-Terror is probably the best you can get for your money. Even better is that it is tube head and not a solid-state. It gives you a good range of classic tones, and can really bite. Probably going to be my regular practicing amp considering how easy it is to carry and easy to set up. For a small practicing amp, you probably couldn't beat the Orange Micro-Terror. Tiny little amp with lots of punch.

Use it at home and it sounds great for being so little. I ran the headphone out into a Peavy solidstate amp power section input to act as a cab. Can get some fantastic cleans and turn the guitar volume up and get some nice distortion.

I use it for practice at the house but also take it to a friends place and use a spare speaker cabinet. A friend lent me his and I went to Sam Ash on Sunset and bought one for my self.

Right after I received my Micro Terror I used it to play a room with ~200 people. I was playing a Strat through some pedals into a 1x12 Fender cabinet. There were several vocalists and an acoustic-electric guitar running through the house PA. There was also a cajon providing percussion. My cabinet was not miked and I still had plenty of volume to play lead lines over the mix. I was running an OD, a delay, and a clean boost into the front end of the amp. The Micro Terror took the pedals well. I received a compliment on my tone from the lead guitarist of another band playing at the same event. I have also run an SG with humbuckers into the Micro Terror with good results. I think the Micro Terror is a great value -- highly recommended!

Great little amp! This thing is deceiving with it's size. It packs a punch of volume and tone. Nice cleans at lower volume and ripping sustain when you crank the gain. Powerful enough to power bigger cabs even. The tube offs some really nice warm tones too.

This thing is awesome! My best friend bought one as a backup for his Mesa Dual-Rec Roadster. We played it through his Mesa 4x12 cab, and this thing cranked it! Besides the Orange head being comically tiny, it is seriously loud! We literally shook the windows in his house. The cleans are ultra-clean, and turning the gain up, it was beautiful distortion with deep lows and clear highs, lots of sustain and not muddy at all! It wasn't exact, but it sounded a heck of a lot like his $2200 Mesa head. Most non-musicians may not even know the difference!
