Worth the price.
Great product and with instant access Ableton live. It is cross-compatible for multiple daws but is specifically designed for Ableton. Would be 5 stars but the overall feel of the plastic used in producing the device seems a bit cheap. on the bright side it is fully customizable and comes with 4 extra knobs for whatever you need. Overall, the Novation Mk3 is the best for the buck and beats the Akai MK2. Just make sure you buy the Novation MK3 NOT the Novation MK2. Huge difference.
Wonderful And easy to use!
The key is fantastic!
Exactly what I needed to create music! I was looking for my first midi controller that can control both drums, has a keyboard, and some knobs for adjusting sounds. This literally meets every single one of my needs. Great for Ableton users both on the go or just need a first controller.
I am a beginner with creating music and this keyboard is perfect! It is easy to set up and the software and videos that it comes with are simple to use and informative.
I upgraded from the MK2 to the MK3. The upgrade was totally worth it. I personally create beats on Ableton Live and this keyboards adds a lot more flexibility to what you can control and the build quality is definitely better.
It's a great little midi Keyboard! Does everything that I need it too and has no trouble whatsoever connecting to my mac. I run a few different DAWs so the ease of connecting is great. I've only dabbled in what they offer for plugins but so far they're also great!
Got this for my son, he loves it! He uses it every single day - he is only 8 - he watched every single video and tutorial to learn about this product as well as the software and I must say I'm pretty amazed at how well he is picking up all this knowledge and making something that doesn't kill my eardrums (lol)
This was the perfect solution for travel as it works with Ableton Live which is what I already had set up in my home studio and now I can take anywhere I go. For a practically plug and play keyboard there was little I had to do get it set up to use. For the size, the feel of the keys are great and it is easy to shift octaves to get to the other registers on the keyboard.
