For 30 years the Nobels ODR-1 has been called, “The first choice of studio guitarists in Nashville.” Jerry Donahue of the Hellecasters calls it "the best overdrive on the market."

The Nobels ODR-1 Classic Overdrive is an extremely versatile pedal, delivering a vast range of tones to fit various styles and genres. The Nobels ODR-1 delivers natural, non-compressed tube-amp style overdrive that is versatile and amp-like. Create crunchy rock and blues sounds or extra boost for soloing without smothering the natural character of your guitar's tone.

The flexible Spectrum control alters mid and treble frequencies, giving you even more sonic versatility. When adjusting the Spectrum control up or down the circuit ensures you have plenty of clarity and full dynamic range.

The ODR-1 features a solid metal chassis, a top loading battery compartment, and Nobel's Remote Control Jack switching system for special professional setups. A favorite of Nashville studio musicains, the natural character of your guitar comes through, and it will make a great addition to your pedalboard. Power supply and 9V battery not included.

Great pedal

Papa joe

" A great overdrive pedal".

I use this pedal to push the front end of my Fender Hot Rod Deville. I really appreciate that doesn't have a huge midrange hump that makes the bottom fall out of my tone when I use mostly other overdrives. I play in church and it blends well with the modulation pedals on my board. To think it's been around since the 80's and a lot of players never heard of it makes the tone unfamiliar and exciting to hear.
