This thing is built like a piece of military equipment. Super solid heavy metal construction. Functions beautifully and does just about anything you want to control most functions in logic. You just have to spend some time learning it, The first day setting it up was frustrating because I'm new to this kind of gear and the user guide is not written by a human being but a robot with an engineering degree. If Apple had built this there wouldn't have been any instructions needed you would just know what to do. I wish the user interface was more modern like an iPad touchscreen with icons or something it would make it a lot easier to navigate and figure it out. You have to scroll through a bunch of digital readouts like it was 1990. After several failed attempts to get this thing from Guitar Center because they sent me one that looks like the box had been dropped down flights of stairs, I called Sam Ash Hollywood and spoke with MJ. She's always so helpful she took the time to make sure this thing was in good condition before they shipped it. Finally I have foot control over my FX in logic. Thanks

The Pacer truly an amazing midi controller. I use it for handsfree looping with my RC505 with ease! Live looping and switching between multiple instruments can prove to be very challenging at timesm. The Pacer allows me to transition smoothly and start right on the beat. Unlike other midi pedals I've purchased in the past, I don't feel limited with the Pacer. Lastly, I love the construction of the pedal itself. It feels incredibly durable! Its built like a tank. If youre in the market for a midi foot controller, the Nektar is the best option hands down.

I'm liking the possibilities that the Pacer allows. I read several comments online where comparisons were made to the Behringer FCB1010. I've had an FCB1010 for several years now but the Pacer is functionally more advanced. I like the ability to send a more complex sequence of messages (up to 6 at a time) to what I'm "talking" to. Here's the rub... getting whatever you want to program to work with the Pacer. This has meant digging in to the "MIDI Appendix" of several user's manuals, (I have a few guitar modelers and rack FX units). Some of these manuals are written better than others and, quite frankly, the manual for the Pacer could have more examples illustrating possible communication scenarios. What worked for me is to use my laptop to both monitor and communicate MIDI messages to my rack gear. Once I was able to figure out what worked, I duplicated those commands on the Pacer. I highly recommend this MIDI controller but don't buy it and expect to use it at a gig that night... you'll need to spend some time figuring out exactly what you want it to do with the other gear you have.
