Updated with superior tracking, quieter performance, and cleaner headroom, the M280 is sure to find a home on any pedalboard. Featuring two independent octave controls, MXR's Constant Headroom Technology, and a Mid Switch, the MXR M280 is a pedalboard-friendly powerhouse.

Two Independent Octave Controls
The MXR M280 Vintage Octave Bass Mini features a simple control layout; a Dry volume control to dial in your clean signal and two octave controls. Oct 1 and Oct 2 control the volume of one octave down and two octaves down. Blend these together, along with your clean signal, and you should have no problem finding an octave tone for your style.

Constant Headroom Technology
Equipped with MXR's Constant Headroom Technology, the Vintage Bass Octave features a custom circuit that provides clean, crystal clear headroom by producing 18-volts from a 9-volt power source. This helps to provide a fuller and more natural sound.

Mid Switch
To help you cut through the mix, the M280 Vintage Bass Octave features an extremely useful Mid Switch. When engaged, you will receive a boost to your clean signal's midrange at 800Hz by +6dB, providing extra clarity and definition. If you’re still looking for more of a boost, remove the bottom plate and crank things up to +13dB via an internal trim pot.
