I use my humor at whenever I'm not using my electric acoustic. I keep it in its hard case (especially during the summer months and the heat, which can really damage your guitar.) I rinse the yellow sponge and wring out excessive water and place into the blue container. Drop the pop lid to close it and glide it into the middle of the strings before closing my guitar case. I check on it each time I use my guitar to make sure the sponge has some water remaining in it - which is how it works in regulating the temperature inside my guitar to avoid warping of the wood or cracks, etc. I would recommend.. it's a no brainer for an acoustic owner.
