Great mic

Great mic. Replaced my Shure SM58. This is a hotter mic I don't feel the need to eat it or scream to be heard.

Excellent Sound and Design

5

Weighing in at 25 grams heavier than the Shure SM58 and a frequency response 70-17k whereas the SM58 is sitting at 50-15k. Personally the extra headroom on the ND76 is very noticeable, the 20 hz of response that is absent from the low end is also noticeable in the form of a cleaner-sounding signal, as those frequencies are often just buzz and hum. this mic also has a higher impedance than the SM58. The sound and feel of this mic is a cut above and anyone who is looking for more than your standard vocal mic should start here.

No Contest Vocal Mic

5

There really isn't much of a contest for vocal performance microphones as far as I can see. With the combination of price, performance, design and capability, there's practically no other mic I'd suggest for vocalists, beginner or otherwise. The shock-mounted capsule protects the microphone from unwanted noise wonderfully in PA, its large diaphragm offers for a rich, warm frequency, it cuts through the mix cleanly and clearly with a well-rounded sound. For the cost this thing goes for, there's almost no reason why you shouldn't go for this thing! What're you doing? Get it now! This is a Sam Ash employee review.

My go-to vocal mic!

The ND 76 is my favorite microphone to use for live vocals. It has a 5-point internal shockmount which makes it a great handheld microphone. It also has a nice weight to it and is durable.
