Very good for live presentations

I own the ME2 omnidirectional mic and use it for video work. I have used the ME4 cardioid mic at a church running through the PA system. The ME4 is somewhat fragile - we needed to replace it after about 21/2 years in service. The ME4 sounds natural but not quite as natural as the ME2 Omni-directional. The ME4 provides much better gain before feedback, however, making it the better choice when the mic is running through a PA system and feedback is an issue. You will need to handle the ME4 carefully to avoid damaging the wire.

High failure cord and expensive

This microphone works very well "but" is too expensive [...] to replace on a school budget. The cord is very fragile and the mini plug connection sometimes makes an intermittent (noisey) connection. [...] needs a more reliable cord and connector.
