The Yamaha MG06X mixer is the perfect companion to take wherever your music takes you!

Road Tough. Studio Ready.
For a more precise control and enhancement of  your sound, the Yamaha MG06X comes equipped with a suite of Yamaha's renowned SPX effects. Featuring high-resolution Chorus, Flanger, Distortions, Reverb and Delay, all with editable parameters, these are the same multieffects processors used on Yamaha's high-end mixing consoles, giving you the tools you need to elevate your mixes to a higher plane.

The small footprint of the Yamaha MG06 is perfect for those smaller jobs where you don't need or want to transport a larger mixer to the gig or for recording stereo demos to your PC ...or just simply kicking out the jams at rehearsal.

And its 6-channel input section (2 Mic / 6 Line Inputs [2 mono + 2 stereo]) lets you plug in your guitar, keys and mic and you're off to the races, just like that! Plus the included +48V phantom power will let you connect your best electric condenser mic so you can have your "sound" whenever and wherever you go.

SPX Effects
For musical and non-musical applications alike, effects processing adds polish and professionalism to the mix. The MG06X models feature Yamaha's acclaimed SPX digital multi-effect processor, offering a comprehensive suite of 24 editable digital effects perfect for enhancing your mix, whether adding depth to a speaking engagement or breathing new color and atmosphere into a live band performance. In particular, the high-quality reverb and delay expand the spatial quality of the sound with remarkable realism and naturalness.

D-PRE (Discrete Class-A Mic Preamps)
Delivering fat, natural sounding bass and smooth, soaring highs, with very low distortion, D-PRE preamps possess an impressively wide frequency range that allow them to handle signal from any audio source without overly amplifying any specific elements of the sound. Having such a pure sonic platform to build on will ultimately save you time and effort by eliminating the need for excessive EQing or additional effects processing in order to "fix" your mix.

Metal Chassis
Built to last, MG Series mixers feature a rugged, impact-resistant, powder-coated metal chassis, offering an unrivalled level of durability. With a sleek design contoured for optimal convection cooling, the internal layout separates the power supply from the analog circuitry for superior noise reduction, and further extends the life of the components inside.

Compact, light weight, easy to use.

I use this mixer with a Rode NT3 microphone for harmonica and a flute condenser microphone pickup. This unit is easy to use, runs very cool and has inaudible noise. I see only two drawbacks. One: Can't have reverb and echo on at the same time. Two: The power supply is external and makes it necessary to carry an extension power cord when using on stage.

Perfect for singing at home with your guitar or track

After a lot of research I ended up this gear for my home vocal practice sessions with Karaoke track. I can tell with certainty that this is one of my best purchases as ever. The reverb for the vocals is exceptional. I have never heard my voice so clear and crisp. Got this on a special offer coupled with a Samson headphone so now I can setup my own practice pad without disturbing others. Also tried hooking up my guitar to it and very satisfied with that as well. I do not use any amp just connected to a decent quality desktop speakers. Overall very good product and I am going to try hooking up more instruments and hoping for the same great performance.

Great Mixer!

The Yamaha MG line of mixers are all excellent. My friend and I use one in his home studio and it works great! Though it's small, it's a quality mixer. It does everything that we need it to do and more. The sound quality is also very surprising for something of it's price and size. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs something small or portable. I am a staff reviewer for Sam Ash Music

Compact and fun!

Compact mixer with all you need for small gigs! only reason i'm giving this 4/5 stars is because i'm a fader guy, lol. But for real, this thing is great. If you're doing a gig with 2 vocal mics and some line ins, you don't need anymore than this. The EQ and FX will have you ready to gig wherever! kiler little mixer

This is perfect for mixing things in your rehearsal studio or playing out with a small project. And when you want to record it, all you have to do is plug in your laptop. You don't even need to rewire everything. It's good like it is. This is a real hands-on product review from Rock'n Dave @ Sam Ash Canoga Park.

A pocket sized performer

This little mixer has all the perks of the bigger portable mixers in a VERy small format. 2XLR combo jacks with 2 stereo channels allow for 6 inputs and bullt in FX selections. Choose from 3 different types of reverb or delay to get you music sounding sweet! This is a hands on review from Boz @ Sam Ash Richmond

Great addition to your setup

This yamaha is a great little piece to add to anyone's setup. Nice and extremely compact, its footprint in your setup is basically non-exsistent in most band's rigs. This is a real hands-on product review from Tamir @ Sam Ash Edison

Sounds Good, Built Tough

Awesome small mixer from Yamaha. Great sounding pre's, and FX. All metal construction and built well, so no worries about transportation. Great for band rehearsal, DJ's, and small monitor applications. Super easy to use, and sounds great! This is a real hands-on product review from Matt @ Sam Ash Columbus

Great Small Portable Mixer

The Yamaha MG06X 6-Channel Mixing Console has 2 Mic / 6 Line Inputs (2 mono + 2 stereo) and a Stereo Bus. As with their larger mixer is also uses the "D-PRE" mic pre's with an inverted Darlington circuit. Also comes with Yamaha's High-grade effects: SPX with 6 programs, XLR balanced outputs, PAD switch on mono inputs and phantom power. All the things you'd look for in a much larger mixer. And the price can't be beat for the features offered. This is a real hands-on product review from Rick @ Sam Ash Phoenix.
