Short of size and scale, the CF Martin "Little Martin" acoustic guitar is anything but lacking in features! The Mahogany Pattern HPL (high pressure laminate) textured finish also sports a solid Sitka spruce top with hand-rubbed finish for a stylish look, along with a Rust Stratabond neck and Solid Morado or East Indian Rosewood fingerboard.

These materials help deliver that Martin sound in a compact and affordable instrument that's perfect for the traveling troubadour. It's also great as a beginning instrument for the small-handed player. Additional appointments include a Black Micarta bridge with compensated Tusq saddle and chrome small-knob tuners. Includes a padded gig bag.

Awesome Guitar for Children or Travelers

I got this for my 8 year old son. He is large for his age and this guitar fits him perfectly. The tone is kinda boxy, but the fit and factory setup and playability were key for me. I wanted something he'd enjoy and find easy to play, and with reliable tuners. He's having a blast learning on this guitar and will sit and noodle on it for hours.

Definitely would recommend this model and Sam Ash's stores.

This was an early Christmas gift for my Wife. I was concerned that she would not persist with learning to play. The staff at SamAsh's were really helpful. It's now nearly a month since purchase. Peggy has practiced every day for at least an hour. She's getting it, not a puppy either. We went back to the store just a few days ago, they had freebie Picks and I purchased a Guitar method book on the advice of another very helpful staff member. The Travel Guitar is just the right size and looks beautifully made. I'm very pleased with it, so is Peggy.

Very pleasing Little Martin.

Excellent build quality for the price. Fishman electronics surprisingly responsive on the Little Martin. Not quite as robust as the wood top version but perfect for home use. Action a little high out of the box but a little sanding took care of it. Very pleased overall. Good Martin tone.

Best guitar for what I needed it for

I have a father who loves playing and buying him a mini to be able to play when he visits my house is amazing. Buying a guitar that is quality is just as important. After much research this Mini Martin LX was the best buy i could have done! Im so excited to hear him play during his next visit!

Mixed Feelings

The guitar itself is great. But the GigBag leaves A LOT to be desired. I wish Martin would either provide a decent GigBag OR not sell it with one at all & drop the price on the item so I can buy my own good quality GigBag.

Great Guitar!

This guitar is fantastic! I got it for my birthday and it sounds great! Wonderful for practice, and the sound is beautiful, definitely worth buying especially if you have small hands like I do!
