This is and excellent Snare drum ,has a great finish,a crisp sound high tuning and low tuning,the hardware on it is durable,i use this snare on the road its my main snare drum,i also have a piccolo snare drum for effects at my side ,but the sound in this Mapex Snare drum is Amazing im so shocked,i play for a lot of gigs when its mic up its one of the best sound you will ever hear the the system ,i commend Mapex for this drum its beautifull great quality nice and heavy you can feel the quality in it and the quality cound you get off it ,nice weldone waz worth my money spent on it ,thanks Samash for great Customer Service Thanks Guys.......... :)

I play gospel and with various gigs, this is the perfect drum even if you aren't the best drummer! It's a great drum that gives off a phat, warm sound. I love it.
