Short Description*The Loar LM-520E-VS is a professional grade Carved Top F-Style Mandolin with a Fishman Nashville bridge pickup ideal for the touring musician and the local player alike!

The Loar’s LM-520E-VS F-Style Mandolin with Fishman’s Nashville bridge pickup is a professional-grade mandolin with authentic mandolin “chop” and easy plug-and-play electronics. The hand carved solid spruce top is tonally superior to any pressed solid mandolin top, The Loar’s reputable build quality is evident in each curve of the body, and the Fishman Nashville bridge pickup is stage ready. For the touring musician with hundreds of dates per year, or the local player needing a pro-level stage mandolin, the LM-520E-VS delivers.

Hand-Carved Solid Spruce Top
For any arched top instrument, hand carving a bookmatched piece of solid spruce has been the path to best tone for hundreds of years. The Loar has embraced the century of mandolin knowledge and has made real tone a standard spec on every single The Loar mandolin. Carving by hand allows the natural fibers and grain to be preserved, letting the strings’ vibrations travel freely and fully resulting in that real mandolin “chop.”

Professional Grade Build Quality
In addition to the Hand Carved solid spruce top, the LM-520E-VS features an equally exquisitely graduated Hand Carved solid maple back and solid maple sides. This attention to quality materials gives a professional level sound at a fraction of the price. The proper graduations of the top and back to be thinner at the edges is only possible with high level human craftspeople.

Fishman Nashville Pickup
Fishman has been a leader in acoustic amplification since their inception, and they’ve captured the sonic essence of an acoustic mandolin with the Nashville series bridge pickup. The Loar has installed the Nashville pickup with a permanent endpin jack, resulting in easy plug-and-play capability that works every time you take the stage.
