How did they do it? How did the good folks at Peavey design such a rugged, well-built, incredible sounding PA speaker at such an amazing, affordable price?
The Peavey PV 215 is a 2-way, double 15" speaker housed in a trapezoidal enclosure. It’s capable of handling 700 watts program and 1400 watts peak power.
A part of Peavey’s "performance & value"-oriented PV Series, the 215 enclosure includes two 15” premium woofers with 2 3/8” voice coils for pumping plenty of low end. Built-in tweeter protection and a heavy-duty crossover supply the RX14 compression driver with plenty of clean power for the 90° x 40° constant directivity horn, while the carpet-covered cabinet and sturdy metal grille. It’s this type of design philosophy that makes the Peavey PV 215 a road-rugged loudspeaker that can really rock a party and fill a decent sized room with great sound.
So how does Peavey do it? We’re not exactly sure, but they’ve been doing it for over 45 years!
Blew the old speakers out, had some ev's subwoofers left.....at church.... Was also kinda broke, saw these speakers tried them out at the store Hooked them up at the church, love the way they sound make them sound even better With the eq recommend these if ur in a budget....I also but the insurance if they blow out havent used it yet....really good.

After reading many feebacks and backing up from getting some EV's.. I decided to purchase a couple of this speakers for a Christmas church party we had. The only word I can say is... AWESOME!. They run a little high on the Low sounds but nothing that a EQ can't solve. After minimal adjusments the entire Band was amazed by this very unexpensive speakers. I think Peavey hasn't notice the quality of this ones. I highly recommend this speakers to those with a low budget. But do not be fooled.... This speakers are extremelly good. Get them while you can.
