Great Product.

I am a professional singer playing between 100 to 150 nights a year. I have always used Shure in ear monitor systems so I researched a lot before I bought this system which was recommended by another musician Audio Technica price was nice so that was a good start. Here's what I think Connection stability - 10 volume control past the board - 10 The left/right ear bud control - 10 . I hear a little less out of my left ear so I can adjust the center if I want to. Most times I only used one bud with my old system due to turning it up for my left ear just crushed my right. Ear buds - 7 . I love the screw on connection of the supplied ear buds since I jump around ALOT and The body pack does sometimes work its way to the floor. I clip to buds to my back collar so.... feel a tug -grab and reattach to belt lol. But the sound quality is lacking. Sound - I use my good ole trusty Shure 215's and they sound great. Overall. Compared to the Shure Monitors I've owned these are just as good and in some ways better. I hope this review helps others with their purchase. Oh yeah! I almost forgot. I don't know if everyone is doing this cause I don't own any other systems but NO MORE 9 VOLT BATTERIES!!!!!!! This uses AA. Same as my wireless mic. 9volts are expensive! These last just as long. 2 nights and a little bit of a 3rd. But I usually put in new on Friday night so 2 nights for sure.

Duuuude! < ----- They dont call me that

The M2 is by far the best in-ear monitor system for the mone

I'm the soundman for a classic rock band that plays 3-4 times a month. We all work day jobs and only have 45 minutes to an hour for setup and sound check at various local clubs and sports bars. The stages are way too small and we have to be careful not to disturb the patrons who are eating and watching sporting events before we start our shows. Conventional monitors were out of the question because of the size, setup/ equalization time and poor acoustical conditions so in-ear monitors were the best solution. We use 3 M2 systems that have worked flawlessly for almost 2 years now. The bass player even dropped one of the recievers hard and bent the concentric pot but I was able to easily take it apart and bend it back with no problems. The mix mode allowed me to send 1 aux mix from the board and a direct out from each singers channel to the transmitter that way they could turn up the vocal at their recievers and leave me alone to concentrate on the main mix. Having a low stage volume is critical to getting a great main mix when you play in small or poor acoustical venues and the M2's allow for not only a better monitor mix but a much cleaner main mix for the audience to enjoy. I really miss the M2 in-ear monitors when I mix other bands and have to use their sound system with traditional floor monitors. If you want an upgrade to your sound system and a superior monitor system to floor monitors run out to your LOCAL Audio Technica Dealer and get the M2 in-ear system!

Solid, Always ON Sound

I've had my M2s for over a year now, and they are rock solid. I can't imagine being on stage without them. Was very easy to adjust all the settings to get an optimal mix and level between vocals and instruments balanced between left and right ears. The health of my voice and ears now owes much to A-T. I use them 2-3 times per week, and am very impressed with the comfort and feel of the buds. I thought I would have to shell out for custom buds, but after each time I use them, it becomes less and less a desire. They sound great and the noise cancelling is very good. I've added an ambiance mic when solo, which really makes a difference interacting with a crowd I can hear. Once you experience the M2, I doubt you will ever wedge again. Just walk out of that sweet spot of a floor monitor and you'll understand that will never happen with the M2.

Just what I needed....

Since going to a quite stage at our church I needed the best in-ear monitoring possible and went with custom molded monitors by Westone. Therefore, I needed a quality wireless system to complete my setup. I found everything I needed and more in the Audio Technica M2 system. I couldn't be more pleased with the value I received for the money I invested. I literally took it out of the box, plugged it in, installed batteries, turned it on and it worked! I guess I could have spent a lot more money, but I'm not real sure as to what I would have accomplished other than having less monney in my pocket. Thanks AT, Terry
