Welcome to the world of hassle-free music with Légère synthetic reeds. Their woodwind reeds are used by some of the best players in the world to teach, perform, and record. They are completely different from the plastic reeds you may have tried before.

Légère reeds are made from a patented synthetic material with properties similar to those of moist cane. They are ready to play instantly, so you can spend all your time playing. They are consistent, reliable, and last a long time. Most importantly, however, they work!

These Saxophone reeds have a beautiful tone and range, together with all the normal advantages of a synthetic reed. The original cut is designed for a darker sound and generally used for a classical set-up.

Comments about Legere Tenor Saxophone Reed (Assorted Strengths):

I am a multi-instrumentalist and I play keys and sax and sometimes I have to play keys for a while and no matter how good a wood reed I have, I would have to wet it to then play. This plays as soon as you put it on. I have tried the BARI and Fibracell reeds but so far, this is the one I find sounds closest to a real wood reed. It feels funny, you'll have to get used to it. One more thing, their #2 feels like a #3 but once you play it for a while, you will understand why it's 'harder'. It needs to be a bit stiffer to give you the sound you're accustomed to with the softer feeling reed. At first I thought 'can this be much better than any of the others'. I think it is. Buy one, you have nothing to lose except wait time on moistening a wooden reed, changing a wooden reed constantly..
