Nathaniel Stottlemyer

Nathaniel Stottlemyer holds both a Bachelor and Master degree in Ethnomusicology, Percussion Performance, Studio Production, and Professional Certificate from Liberty University, The Catholic University of America and Berklee College of Music. He is also in the process of obtaining a Doctoral degree in Music Education from Boston University. Nathaniel has a broad experience in performace and technology-based pedagogy and is a music educator, composer, and producer.

Mr. Stottlemyer has served as an Adjunct Instructor of music at Anne Arundel Community College, percussion ensemble director and technology-based music teacher at Annapolos High School, and director of ensembles at Brooklyn Park Middle School.

An accomplished percussionist, Nathaniel has concertized with a number of critically acclaimed artists and ensembles including Jenny Oaks Baker, Alex Sharpe(of Celtic Women), Rachid Halihal, Hicham Chami, the Luis Gara Ensemble, Fuad Foty, N. Scott Robinson, the Annapolos Chamber Orchestra, and the McLean Orchestra. Mr. Stottlemyer’s interests include technology-based music learning, world music, and culturally responsive learning.
