Bruce Dunai

Bruce is a lifelong musician, starting out in grade school bands and going on from there. He has continued that involvement, and has played Euphonium in a small orchestra for the past 30 years. He is an advanced player on both diatonic and chromatic harmonicas, moving easily between Blues, Country, Standards, and Jazz. For 30 years he has been a member of the Texas Round-Up Band, playing gigs throughout all of North Texas, generally wherever BBQ is on the menu.

He has played harmonica with and was a founding member of the Lake Highlands area The PitPops, the Ericsson Corp. E-Band (appearing twice in Las Vegas), and played with the Fort Worth-based Southside Blues Kings in recent years. Bruce is a music reader on Chromatic and this earned him invitations to play on two occasions with the Ft. Worth Symphony in Bass Hall (2006, 2014) in two operas.

Of special interest is his playing guitar with harmonica on a rack (in the style of Neil Young & Bob Dylan) at numerous solo gigs all over the Metroplex. Bruce is a member of both HOOT (Harmonica Organization of Texas) and SPAH (Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica).
