The Korg nanoPAD2 is a compact-sized USB MIDI controller featuring 16 great-feeling dynamic-sensing pads alongside an X-Y touchpad. You’ll be able to tap in your percussion performances with dynamic feel intact, enabling you to create ultra-realistic drum parts and patterns whether it’s a virtual instrument, DAW, plug-in effect or DJ software.

The Korg nanoPAD2, while small in size, provides a giant solution for controlling your DAW software whether on the road with a laptop or in the studio where space is at a premium. Along with the pads and X-Y touchpad are 4 banks of pad assignments giving you a total of 64. The X-Y pad can be used to control multiple synth parameters.

The nanoPAD2 gets it power from the mini-USB connection so there’s no need for batteries or wall-warts. It can now be used with the iPad via the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit, providing MIDI control using the Apple Core MIDI features. Apple iOS 4.2.1 is supported, and the app needs to support Core MIDI. If you are using multiple nanoSERIES2 controllers, or plan to use a single nanoSERIES2 for an extended period of time, please use a powered USB hub.

The nanoPAD2 works with the "Korg Kontrol Editor" software – available free on the Korg website. Load it into your computer, and use it to make detailed customized settings. Choose from four velocity settings: three velocity curves or fixed velocity; specify the control change messages transmitted by the modulation button and the sustain button.

With its 16 dynamic-sensing pads, X-Y Touchpad, surprising quality feel, small size and incredible light weight (about ½ a lb) the Korg nanoPAD2 Slimline USB-MIDI controller is a must-have for the computer recording engineer/producer/musician on the go or in the studio.

Get your Korg nanoPAD2 Compact USB-MIDI Controller today from Sam Ash Direct and enjoy the confidence that comes from fast, free shipping, the guaranteed lowest price and our 45/60-day return/price protection policy.
