I bought the ARP Odyssey on the suggestion of a guy who owns an original. This unit is so flexible. It will take a good bit of time to exploit all the sounds that it can make but the fact that the workflow is upfront and clear to understand, you can get going immediately. The XLR output is a fantastic feature and I'm starting to fall for the pushbutton pitch mod over the wheels on other units. It is weird that the synth should be so lightweight but deliver on the sound. Hopefully the plastic used on the bottom lasts for many years. Cons? I'm not a fan of slimkeys but playing the unit is comfortable. That's the only issue I have found with it in the month I've had it. I play it almost daily and I'm glad I decided to go with this reproduction as opposed to the Behringer. It is more of a faithful copy w/o added functionality (sequencer).
