Konig & Meyer, Sam Ashe... A Great Combination

I liked the first one so much, I bought another. High quality and strong. Very versatile. Sam Ash had it to me in no time. I love Sam Ash Music... A great company.

This is a great product and I would buy another one!

This is a very well made useful functional microphone stand. Its easy on the hands with the soft twist grip and tightening nuts.

Best mic stands I've ever owned

I've been using mostly cheap mic stands my whole life (I'm 55 as I write this). I've used some K&M stands in studios and they were nice, but I couldn't warrant spending the money on them. When I got my hands on this soft-touch by K&M I was so impressed I replaced all my old boom stands with these soft-touch stands. No fussing around trying to adjust the height, just a SOFT TOUCH like they advertise. I have to tell my friends that use them to relax when they adjust them. They are accustomed to the typical wrestling match that occurs when raising height or adjusting boom angle on many stands. Super construction. When you pop the legs out, they stay firmly in place instead of flopping around loosely. The powder coating is heavy duty. I've banged them around a few times and the finish holds up like new. Fantastic mic stand and Sam Ash has the best deal on them currently.

The Stand To Have!

Not a lot of reviews on this stand so i will share my thoughts. First right out the box i can tell how Gorgeous and i mean Gorgeous! this thing looks. It is also very strong. I own a Dr Pro stand that cost a little less then this one but comparing the two i can see this one uses a stronger metal base and legs. How the Germans do it i do not know they always have a few tricks up their sleeve. Anyways in my opinion this is the best mic stand iv ever owned ever will own and probaly in the world! Thanks K&M

The quality is there......

This stand is German designed and built and in this case the German reputation for quality engineering is well deserved. When I was looking at stands at Sam Ash, I compared this one to an Ultimate stand at the exact same price level. The Ultimate stand rattled around quite a bit where the boom telescopes but this one did not. There really was no comparison between the two and although the Ultimate looks bigger and more robust, The K&M is actually built better, is more solid and is more compact. Adjustments are easy and everything holds securely, the knobs are of better quality on the K&M versus the Ultimate. Two cable clamps are included. This stand just has a heavy, quality feel to it and although kind of expensive, it's worth the money and will serve you well for years to come.
