Bought used at a fair price and it was in perfect "like new" condition, as described. The wood is high quality and beautiful. Amazing tone for chords and single note. I emailed a question after receiving this Uku and was answered the next day. The build quality is not what I think it should be. I can see glue smears on the inside of the body and there are some rough fret edges. The wood ripped a tiny bit in the cross cut sections around the tone hole inlay. The finish is immaculate and the ukulele shines. I find that when playing further up the neck this uku requires a delicate touch for all the notes to be true. This could be the strings or my playing and I'm getting used to it. This uku was great for the price and I'm very happy with it. If Kala came up short on some detailes for a top of the line I have to be fair and remember that the price is significantly less than other high end ukuleles.
