This is a great beginning model clarinet. It works well and all of the pads and parts function flawlessly. These have been incredibly popular due to the quality vs. the price. If you are in the market for a clarinet I highly recommend you check these out.

The JBCL290 is the perfect clarinet for any one starting out. Solid design with great keywork and pads. It might not be one of the big name brands, but the warm tone will surprise you. Very affordable and solid option!

If your child is looking at starting out to play Clarinet and you want to get her one she can keep without having to rent one every year than the CL290 is a great option for you. With the amount rentals can cost getting something like this to start out is a good idea. Great bang for your buck and comes with a soft case.

The JBCL290 is the perfect beginner clarinet. With a solid design, good keys and pads you or your student will really enjoy the experience of playing this horn. It might not say Yamaha or Selmer but the tone is where its at. It feels and plays just as good as the entry levels that those brands have to offer at an even better price. Very good buy.

If you are looking for a starting point for a student clarinet..look no further! Made of ABS plastic, but both feels and plays great! It is pretty durable and comes with some goodies as well! Like I said before, this is a good starting point price wise because we are never sure how the youngins are going to be with music sometimes (especially at young ages). Anything less, will give you problems and will cause them not to be interested. I have personally been there, done that before, got a better instrument (similar to this JB line) and then moved up from there.
