I absolutely love the super thin neck and the jumbo frets. This is the most effortless to play and most fun to play bass that I've ever played. I can't stop playing it. My friends always want to play it. All my other basses are getting very jealous. I bought the the walnut stain color. I've gotten lots of comments about how handsome it looks. The build quality is very good. The 3-band active EQ works well and provides excellent tone control. The blend knob is nice (better than separate volume knobs for each pickup). The Jackson pickups are good quality and the coil split switch is awesome (selects growlier humbucker mode or cleaner single coil mode). And it's nice that you can just pull out on the volume knob to bypass the active EQ and run in passive mode if you want to - or if the battery ever dies at an inconvenient time (volume, blend, and coil tap switch still work in passive mode). These are new for 2019. Jackson deserves a round of applause - good job guys! CONS: It was totally NOT set up out of the box. It took me a couple of days of adjusting it and letting it settle before I got everything set up correctly (truss rod, string height / action, intonation, pickup height). If you can't do this yourself then plan on a couple of trips to a shop to get it done right. The strings that came with it were pretty low quality in my opinion. I put my favorite strings on mine (GHS Round Core Bass Boomers).
