Capable of taking you anywhere from subtle grit to heavy drive, the Blue Note Overdrive comes equipped with Volume, Gain, Tone and Fat controls, plus an onboard "Hot" switch. Flip the "Hot" switch on when you need a little more gain and bite, or when you need some extra sizzle and punch in the midrange. The J. Rockett Audio Designs Blue Note OD also features true bypass switching, and can be powered by either a 9V battery or an optional 9V adapter.

Superb medium gain pedal with just the right amount of bark

Very transparent, lots of versatility in fine tuning for the right sound. Tone controls work great and with the tone switch allow for a great amount of sonic adjustment. Gain control allows you to add just the right amount you need to find your tone spot. Great for single coils or humbuckers. One of the best low/medium gain pedals I have come across. A keeper.
