Awesome Little Amp especially with AmpliTube

I bought this for an upcoming camping trip and I am very happy with the tone and volume when using AmpliTube. I usually use an AXE-FX III through 4000w of FRFR speakers so I am really spoiled tone wise. I wasn't expecting much but at the price point it was worth a try and I must say I am quite pleased.

This is a great practice amp!

This amp sounds good by itself- but the magic happens when you add the AmpliTube app. The iRig Micro Amp comes with the software key to unlock full versions of AmpliTube for your phone, tablet & Mac or PC, and you can connect those devices (cables are included) to use as effects or as the output device. AmpliTube allows you to not only pick effects, but amps & cabinets as well. When I practice and need to be quiet, I plug my guitar into the iRig Micro Amp, the Micro Amp into my MacBook Pro running AmpliTube, and put headphones on my MacBook Pro...last night I played thru the "Red Pig" amp modeled after one favored by guys like Jimmy Page, then switched over to a combination of '65 Fender Twin & '64 Fender Vibroverb, adding distortion via emulation of a Fuzz Age stomp box (Hendrix) or an Overscream stomp box (Tube Screamer- SRV).
