The SR30TH5PII features a semi-hollow construction body created in the iconic SR design. Three oval sound holes add to the unique, artistic design of the bass, while enhancing the warm, rich resonance of the semi-hollow construction. The Lacewood top/Ash/Mahogany back offset each other perfectly, while providing maximum resonance and tone. The neck features a 5pc Wenge/Bubinga construction and is also bolstered with KTS Titanium Reinforcement rods inside to allow for optimal adjustment.

The active Nordstrand “Big Single” 5 pickups provide the clear sound characteristic of single coil pickups, giving players a powerful and aggressive tone. The Ibanez SR1805E Premium 5-String Bass features an onboard 3-band EQ, with Mid-frequency switch and EQ bypass switch, allowing you unlimited possibilities in tone-shaping. The Mono-Rail Bridge is the ultimate in string isolation for bass. Each saddle is independently and securely locked down to the body for maximum vibration transfer and no interference. One screw controls the height of each saddle for easy adjustment. Gold Gotoh machine heads provide tuning stability. SR Premium is the new standard for the serious professional musician.
