Please make a selection from the drop down menu and browse through the Ibanez JEM7V Steve Vai Signature Electric Guitars in White that are currently in stock and have been individually photographed/listed by their unique serial number/weight.

Over the years, Ibanez and guitar virtuoso Steve Vai have joined forces to create a wide range of killer signature axes that are ready to shred it up in style, the JEM7V is no exception.

Precision-crafted in Japan, the JEM7V sports an alder body featuring Vai's instantly recognizable signature Monkey Grip. The fast, shred-ready 5-piece JEM maple/walnut neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard that comes equipped with 6105 frets and is scalloped on frets 21-24 for effortless bends and vibratos. Ibanez's exclusive Prestige fret edge treatment offers an exceptionally smooth fretting hand feel while the iconic Tree of Life inlay remains true to the signature JEM aesthetic.

The Ibanez JEM7V comes loaded up with a trio of DiMarzio Evolution pickups in a versatile HSH configuration. Designed to meet the demands of the legendary axe man himself, the Evolution pickups offer tons of power and crunch, with a massive palette of hard-rocking, shred-approved tones thanks to versatile 5-way switching.

Not only does the gold hardware look incredibly sexy paired with the crisp white finish, but it offers outstanding performance, too. It comes equipped with a set of premium Gotoh tuning machines along with an Edge tremolo featuring an Ultralite Tremolo Arm. The Edge tremolo bridge lets you to dish out anything from the filthiest, deepest dive bombs to the most radical pitch raises thanks to the revolutionary Lion's Claw tremolo cavity. Comes complete with a hardshell case.

"Some guitars are built for performance, some for aesthetic. These instruments are the best of both worlds... and perhaps the universe!"
-Steve Vai

i play my firends Jem and it is sick. he originally got a Parker Fly Mojo (which costs a lot more) but he liked the JEM better so he returned it and the new guitar is sick. the neck is perfect, and i am not kidding, no flaws. the Evolution pickups are amazing. i like it better than my custom shop charvel, which is a jackson on steroids, and it is hard to make a guitar better than that.

I writing this review 9 years after the day I bought my jem 7vwh. This guitar is about comfort, the neck is fast, and easy to play, great for soloing. it´s not heavy at all, a 2-3 hours rehearsal is not gonna hurt your back.Talking about tone, this is not a les paul or strat, this is something in between. Actually my strat has more bottom end than the jem. I play through a Mesa Dual Retifier, and the distortion I get using the bridge pickup is somewhat trebly. too much to my taste. The neck pickup sounds cool with distortion, specially with single note riff.when using the hambuckers with the single coil, or just the single coil, is somewhat disappoiting. There is no way you are gonna get a strat kind of sound out of this guitar, also there is a drop in volume, when using the single coil by itself or with the hambuckers, this sucks when gigging, you need something else to boost the volume. So this is a nice guitar, but it is overpriced, [$] and you don´t get AA top, or AAA, neck thru, let alone a original floyd rose. Mine has ebony which is more expensive than rosewood, but the 7vwh with ebony is out of production. There is abalone inlays on the small leaves which is nice but that´s it.For [$] you can get better guitars than this one, I bought it when I was 20 years old, after nine years, I would not buy a jem. I´ve been collecting fenders, les pauls, PRs, and they are much better guitars. The comfy neck is the only thing I like about this guitar.

This is by far the best guitar I have ever played! When I received it, it had a burr on the saddle and the high E kept breaking, but I fixed that, it was a one time only mistake, This guitar is the best looking guitar out there and has one of the best tone, if not the best, and the feel is just AWESOME, so nice and buttery! Perfect guitar, NEVER goes out of tune!
