From the Ibanez Gio Series comes the GSRM20B miKro bass. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned veteran, the GSRM20B is ideal for anyone in need of a short scale bass. It's small size and price tag make it perfect for a younger player just starting out, which is the main reason Ibanez created the miKro series, but even an experienced musician can find use for this mighty little bass thanks to its big tone and playability. Featuring a short scale length, Dynamix pickups, and a B10 bridge, the GSRM20B miKro bass is sure to impress.

Short Scale Length
The Ibanez GSRM20B miKro bass features a 28.6" scale length. Young players, or those with smaller hands, will find this to be a lot more comfortable. This also makes it a good option for guitar players who require a bass but might not want to invest in, or adapt to, a full-scale bass.

Dynamix Pickups
This little bass offers up big tone thanks to a pair of Dynamix pickups. The DXJ in the bridge puts out a bright, snappy tone sure to cut through a mix, whereas the DXP in the neck delivers a warm, rounded tone for more laid-back grooves. With a 3-knob control layout, you can blend the two pickups together to cover any style from hard rock to smooth R&B.

B10 Bridge
The Ibanez GSRM20B features a B10 fixed bridge, designed to better transmit vibration of the strings to the body and improve sustain, helping this little bass put out a big sound that can keep up in full band situations. Since it is fixed, the B10 also limits longitudinal string movement, providing tuning stability.

Great for small hands

Great bass for small hands! The walnut finish looks great. I like a more natural, organic look and this works.

It's a great bass

I've been playing bass for 8 years. I wanted to try a short scale and I'm glad I did. I just got it today and I've only played it for about 20mins and it's really nice instrument. The setup out of the box is really good and it sounds great. It ships with round wounds, I play flats & tape wounds so I'm going to change the strings. The build quality is really good for an Instrument at this price point. The back of the neck is smooth & fast and it's really light compared to my ESP's the walnut stain is a lot darker than the photo but it looks great. This bass is balanced, no neck dive and it's fun to play. The pots are just ok and the bridge pickup is a little noisy but for the price its really a non issue. I got this because I have arthritis in my hands and I wanted a bass that was comfortable to play, and it is. This bass is not a toy, it would be great for beginners/advanced players as well as guitar players that wanted to try bass. I'm very happy with my purchase and I would recommend this to a friend. This is great bass and you cant beat the price.
