I've always admired the old blues guys and their incredible ability to get great sounds from an old, inexpensive guitar. As a lefty, I have several expensive guitars but I've always wanted an old Kay, Harmony, or even an old Silvertone hollow body to play blues. Finding a left handed one of these is nearly impossible. Even though the Ibanez AF55 was not meant for this, I took a chance and I have been very pleased. I run my guitars through a system with a Fender Deluxe amp simulator and with a little more gain, the results are very cool. There are hundreds of great blues guitars out there but if you're on a budget and you want that old 50s "sittin' on the front porch on a summer day in Mississippi" sound, this might be the guitar to do it. Just start playing. It won't be long before a guy with a harp sits down and joins you.
