These are good to use on a pedal board where the pedals have jacks in the right spots and are securely mounted to a board. They have good sound and save space. However.... Be careful that you don't flex the jacks in your pedal too much with them. They have no "give". Most effects boxes use jacks that are soldered directly to the circuit board. If the jack gets a little loose, these rigid connectors will flex them and break the solder. Also would avoid using them on pedals with plastic housings for the same reason. I have replaced these with short patch cords for most of my pedals because it's just safer. Have a couple pedals where the input and output jacks line up perfectly for these and they have strong housings...so still use some. Perfect for some things...not for all things!
