My oldest son wanted to learn how to the harmonica so, I remember my dad telling me about this one so I figured this would be a good place to start. So i bought it for my son and now he sits in the garage all day and plays.

It has been over 20 years that I have had a chromatic harmonica. The educator is a chromatic 10 hole key of C. Now this is strange so please read: It comes with a nice little zip up case. The body of the harmonica says Educater by Honica. Even the zip up case says Educator by Honica. But the little fob on the case has our beloved little guy playing the accordian. So this tell me that its Hohner's lower priced brand. Remember that even an 8 hole Chromatic from Hohner is over $100 dollars I believe. The holes are square like a regular diatonic harp. The Hohner Super 64 or the Huang is way different. Ok, don't treat this chromatic or any other lower or higher priced one like a regular harmonica. They are not made that way. You can't wail on it or bend notes, you will ruin it. The slide on the right side is to sharp or flatten notes. People say how they are so hard to play...…...not true!!!! These take a little getting used to because the square holes are bigger. That is why I notice a little leaking. Can you read music? Can you say c ,d ,e ,f, g ,a, b, c??? Then you can play one. Beautiful sound. They are almost like a piano that you inhale and exhale. Special thank you to Vito at Sam Ash John Avila Tucson, AZ.
