With 1000 watts and classic 12AX7 Class-A tube preamp, the LH1000 provides bass players with an abundance of power and amazing tone. The LH1000 features Treble and Bass Shelving as well as mid peak controls which will allow you to produce a broad range of tonal colors to the amps natural, warm tone. If your looking to shape your sound even further, the LH1000 also features Brite and Limiter switches.

Today’s amplifiers seem to all be about one thing, control. So much so that they’ve almost become too complicated to use and aren’t quite user friendly. The LH1000 on the other hand doesn’t necessitate an engineering degree to adjust your tone. The simplistic and intuitive front panel of the LH1000 gives you all of the range and dynamics of more complicated amps but without the headache. Although the LH1000 is a perfect complement to the Hartke HyDrive cabinets, it also works as a seamless accompaniment to any bass cab on the market.

Whether your playing small venues or huge stadiums, the power that the LH1000 puts out makes this amplifier head ideal for the gigging musician. The LH1000 features a light-weight, rugged construction as well as two-rackspace, metal frame chassis,  a steel faceplate and handles which make this amp extremely road-worthy.

The LH1000's raw, reliable power is also perfect for additional shaping through your effects console or stomp box. With all the necessary features for complete tonal control, along with ample power and rugged design, the LH1000 will ensure your bass playing receives the positive attention it deserves.

Sounds great!

Bought this to replace my old LH500. Works like a charm. Super bassy, packs a heck of a punch. Highly recommended for a bassist playing bigger venues.

It's my secund one

It's a good amplifier good soud I like it

Well design and powerful amp.

Other than weight, this beast will outlast my preference on any other amps that I have own up to now. I have gone to the class D, bit there is something about the genuine internal components that differentiate it as better, imo.

Just What I needed!

I Have a Peavey TVX and a BVX cab both 4 ohms. I was looking for a way to power both cabs with 1 head when I found out about this amazing Hartke. Tube preamp with basically a 2x500 watt power amp. Perfect! Yielding 320 watts to each cab at 4 ohms. Tone stack is perfect for My electric basses. Needed a little more eq for My upright so I am running a White 4650 28 band eq on the effects loop. A bit of overkill on the eq but it works Great. Got Mine from Sam Ash through Ebay. 100 bucks off for open box.

Very powerful amp even without using it in bridged mode. For example, if you are use a 4-10 cabinet with a 15 you can balance the power by using the balance knob. To distribute the power to which ever cabinet you desire.

Insanely powerful head... combine this with say a hydrive 410? killer sound.. perfect combination of fat bottom and top end.. more power than youll probably ever need, but its good to have it in reserve if you need it. and its price point, makes this one a no brainer.

All the wiz and bang you'll need

I purchased the LH 1000 after purchasing my Kilo 1000 as a backup. I also purchased the Hydrive 810 cabinet. I like to make a lot of noise and after playing the LH 1000 I decided to buy another one because I plan to buy another Hartke Hydrive 810. I also purchased the Hartke bass attack. Like I said. Lots of noise. I'm in heaven.

Great Bass amp and an Awesome Deal at Sam Ash

I've always read great things about this amp. Since my stable was full I never considered buying one. Then I stumbled on a great deal here at Sam Ash. Mint condition, New/other 1 year warranty. Really? A better deal than getting one used? So I went for it. WOW! It really was just like new! Best deal I ever scored on a bass amp! This really is what everyone is talking about. Check The Wooten and Sheehan demo videos. It Has such a nice warm tone and it's all muscle. If your into/require a lot of knobs and extra features built into the amp, you will be disappointed. (I would simply get an EQ box if I wanted more tone controls) Use the send / returns to add all the processing you want. This is simple, powerful, economical, well built and clean..... Yes a clean bass amp. I've owned Ampeg Products and many others over the years and have dumped them all. It has 3 fans inside so they really were thinking even when it came to cooling. It does get warm even at 4 ohms a side so make sure it can breath. I did find the black control knob position indicators a bit hard to see on stage against the reflections of the bright silver knob tops. I replaced them all with black metal control knobs with white indicator dots. (looks mean) The deal came around again. So my 2nd LH1000 is on it's way!
