Its nice, compact, fairly light...and Loud! Haven't fiddled with the tone shape much yet, so can't really evaluate it. I play a bass fiddle. I have a Behringer tube preamp that rounds the wave tops nicely. On my old amp it was a 'given' I could never hear myself when playing in a group that got a little rowdy. That's not the case anymore, especially as it's pointing right at me like a stage monitor. This is my first dealing with Sam Ash, and they priced it fair and square. They seem to know their business.

It may not have some of the options of other Hartke amps but it will vibrate your fillings loose. Sounds great and low to medium volume levels. Have not had a place or need To really crank it up yet but will update this if I do.

Extremely light and portable. Loud with depth and plenty of settings to shape the sound.

I use this with a 4 piece band n have had no problems with it so far it's plenty loud and sounds great I picked this over the rumble 500 it just sounded better to me hopefully it's as reliable as my old combo 300 I'm always sceptical of newer ampit's 30 plus years old n. Still rockin .as of right now though this Hartke is doing a fine job I'm very happy with it

Awesome combo amp. It blows away my Fender Rumble, which is also very good. I use it in a large auditorium with a high ceiling. It fills the room with bass.

I use my amp for dances. It is easy to carry and has a great sound.

I tried several basses from vintage Gibson EB3, Fender P and 5 string Alembic Essence and the amp handled all very well with clear amplification and the natural tone of each guitar came through. Its a good amp and I have played up to 3 Hartke rigs on stage at once.

Just know that it's a loud amp, in every way. Only need to bring it up to 4-5 for bar gigs and even that's on the louder end for me. But the amp itself is loud, even when not playing. Seems like it's a loud fan in the back. I brought it back and got another one and it's doing the same. So, not the best recording amp. But, I needed an inexpensive (relatively), portable, loud amp and this is it. When playing with the band, fan noise obviously is washed out, even when miked. Otherwise, I love it. Nice tone, volume and portability.

This is my second KB-15. I liked the first one so much, I bought another and run them stacked in tandem. 1000 watts, 2x15" and under 100 lbs. Sounds even better than I expected. I have 4 Hartke amps and LOVE them all.
