Great customer service

Like many, I procrastinate and then rush at the last minute! I did this with my order of CarolBrass Blackhawk Pocket Trumpet. Sam Ash was out of stock but made arrangements to have one shipped directly to me. It arrived in half the time that I was told! The horn is wonderful but I'd come back to Sam Ash just for the customer service!

Have been seesawing on whether to keep it

I purchased the American Special Telecaster in Lake Placid blue with rosewood fingerboard - beautiful guitar and Sam Ash gave me a nice discount. It has has very good sound, except for being a little weak on the "B" and "E" strings. Pickup selector was slightly bent. The saddle adjustment screws are quite high- uncomfortable on the meat of the palm- because to get the recommended action the saddles had to be lowered nearly to the bridge plate on the first and last screws. I'm guessing the neck angle isn't quite right. I don't think the saddles should be that low...the first and last screws of the saddles want to drift on their own because of the lack of tension. I do like the sound, fast neck, and playability, and because I work on guitars, I may keep it if I decide to invest the time and expense. I don't think that I would recommend it based on a couple other of these that I have seen. They both had issues as well.
