Delivering unmatched sound quality and musical expression, the GT-1000 ushers in a new era of performance in amp/effects processors. This premium tone machine debuts the groundbreaking new AIRD (Augmented Impulse Response Dynamics) technology, realized with decades of advanced BOSS research and supported by an ultra-fast DSP engine, 32-bit AD/DA, 32-bit floating-point processing, and 96 kHz sampling rate throughout.

Based on BOSS's acclaimed Tube Logic approach, the comprehensive AIRD system in the GT-1000 brings unparalleled musical response and flexibility to a digital guitar processor. AIRD amplifiers live and breathe like real tube amps, providing inspiring feel and authentic tonal dynamics that were previously unattainable. And with sophisticated AIRD Output Select functionality, you’re able to consistently achieve this amazing sound with any setup, from standard guitar amps to direct recording and full-range stage monitoring applications.

The GT-1000 also features a huge range of cutting-edge BOSS effects to enhance your tones, with numerous routing options and extensive real-time control at your command. And with the convenience of built-in Bluetooth, you can adjust sounds, configure control assignments, and organize patches wirelessly from your mobile device using the BOSS Tone Studio app. Packing immense creative power in a streamlined pro design, the GT-1000 is a game changer that brings new levels of musical expression to guitarists everywhere.

Amazing tones and way too much fun!

This is by far one of the best amp modeler / multi-effects I've ever played. I've used with a solid state combo via stereo line-in (bypassing the preamp), and using the 4CM into a Mesa Boogie MV.25 and custom 2x12 cabinet. It's great either way, but the GT's amp sims are so good I almost prefer it direct without all the cables. In the 4CM I use the Boogie's preamp for distortion rhythm and screaming leads, and the GT's preamp for clean and crunch/TS9 tones - basically a 4 channel setup including JCM cleans all through a tube power amp. It's a Boss so you know the effects are top notch with deep editing capabilities, and the delays and reverb are just sweet!! The amp sims are really cool in that they have Sag and Resonance settings that allow you to adjust the touch sensitivity to the point where sometimes I'm just shaking my head in amazement! Very important: Download the Boss Tone Studio app, watch a video or two, and then you'll be amazed at how easy it is to edit patches on a PC. It's really fun, and you can even try Tone Studio out before buying a GT. Be forewarned though as you might yourself spending a lot of time tweaking the settings just for the heck of it. :) Although I've heard some people gripe about the buttons being a little close together, it's not a problem for me but your YMMV. Personally, I'd rather have it that way than a bigger form factor and more weight. Lastly, the colored LED switches are very handy, and it's a Boss and built like a tank. I'm seriously looking forward to using the GT-1000 as my go-to practice or performance hub for years to come. To that end I ordered the official Boss ME-80 case and it fits like a glove! For reference, I own a lot of Roland, Boss, and other high-end gear, have played for over 30 years, and have had a Boss GT-10 since they were released (Shhh... the GT-1000 is much, much years better!). Keep on playing!

Best of 100 worlds

Has everything and does everything better than everything else.

At least for me I would highly recommend the GT 1000.

I am absolutely happy with this product. I have used other Boss Guitar Processors before but I really like the ease of operation and love the on board effects.

Roland Makes Great Effects Processors and other products.

I had and tried the Line 6 Helix LT, Sold It, Bought the Roland / BOSS GT-1000 and LOVE IT! I have used a variety of Roland / BOSS over the years; Boss Chorus guitar pedal, Roland Juno 60 & Jupiter 6 (circa 1980's) , Fantom G8, Boss GT-8 Guitar Processor & GT-18 Bass Guitar Processor, Roland VG-99, BOSS SY-300 Guitar Synth, BOSS Katana-Air, and Roland Studio MV-30 Music Production System
