For a small body guitar it sure has a pretty full sound. It sounds much fuller and richer than my dad's Baby Taylor. Not tinny sounding at all. It plays nice, holds a tune, and has very nice action right out of the box. I don't have a dedicated acoustic amp or PA system, but I plugged it into my 1979 Fender Pro Reverb, and it sounds great! But I think it really holds it's own when played unplugged. This is the 2nd Guild Westerly guitar I've purchased, and both are very well made, nice looking, and great sounding guitars! And you can't beat the price!!!
