Lots of guitar for the money.

Just picked one up one week ago, I really like it. It feels like a nice blend of a Tele that allows you to play cords easily and an SG, light body with balls with a nice tone. Action and finish are FLAWLESS, the Chinese are making some quality instruments. I fought and put down Chinese products for a long time (this is only my second china ax) but recently I had to accept that for the price, these are an unbeatable value. I don't know how an American guitar can be better in look, feel, and sound at even double the price. The finish in this guitar is every bit as good as that of my good US-made Les Pauls and Strats. This is a "middle of the road" guitar, no fancy components, or finishes, just a very good 1K guitar that costs a lot less than that.

I had not played any of the Electromatics for quite some time, just thinking they were cheaper versions of the real thing. And, to be honest, it was the black walnut fingerboard that had me take this one off the wall. I thought it was ebony. It looked the part, played very brightly, and even sounded like ebony. That aside, once I plugger it in, the deal was pretty much set. This is my 6th Gretsch, and the quality is equal to any of the rest. The FilterTrons are some of the most versatile that I've ever experienced on a Gretsch, including my Dynasonic and TV Jones equipped guitars. , Overall, it's a hard guitar to put down, and the bang for you buck is off tha charts.

The Gretsch Electromatic is a beautiful blues/ classica rock guitar! The neck is nice and smooth and the action is very well put together. The bigsby is a huge plus! giving the guitar more versatility. Its super easy to carry and hold, the finish looks great and the fret board is super clean and easy to use! The pickups sound crisp and bright which I love! The guitar itself is a great studio guitar!
