I've tried other cases and my LP bounced around in them. This case ? Nice and snug. Latches should be better and handle should have been places further back toward body for balance. But case is very sturdy.

For years I used an Anvil case for my Les Paul, but in recent years it has just gotten too heavy to carry around. This Gibson hard shell case offers me almost the same protection at far less weight. Since I'm now handling the guitar myself (no roadies), the lighter weight case is great!
