You are looking at a Gibson Custom Limited Run Explorer Custom Electric Guitar, serial number CS701355. This is the actual guitar you will receive should you decide to purchase. (8 lbs, 8.7 oz.)

Dressing the iconic Explorer up in classy Custom attire, Gibson Custom is excited to introduce the Gibson Custom Limited Run Explorer Custom. Limited to only 200 instruments, the Explorer Custom poses a rare opportunity for the discerning player or collector.

Featuring that legendary Explorer shape, the Limited Run Explorer sports a mahogany body and cozy medium "C"-shaped neck—all adorned in a sleek ebony nitro finish. As you'd expect from a Custom-appointed Gibson Custom, the Explorer Custom showcases multi-ply body bindings, a bound richlite fretboard with pearl block inlays, and all-gold hardware including mini Grover tuners and a Tune-O-Matic bridge/stopbar tailpiece combo.

Under the hood, a 490R pickup sits in the neck position of the Explorer Custom to faithfully deliver the legendary sound of those sought after original PAF pickups while the 498T in the bridge position swaps out the 490R's Alnico II magnet for an Alnico V magnet, making it slightly hotter with emphasis on the mids and trebles—ideal for those screaming leads and solos. The electronics include dual volume controls, a master tone control, a hand-wired harness, and a switchcraft toggle switch.

The Limited Run Explorer Custom comes complete with a hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity from Gibson Custom.
