For players who want the style and sound of Fender's golden era, Fender created the Vintera '50s Precision Bass. Equipped with the coveted features that defined the decade—including period-accurate neck profile and playing feel, along with a re-voiced pickup—this bass has all of the punchy tone that made the P Bass famous.

For authentic, original-era tone, Fender re-voiced the single split-coil P Bass pickup to sound more like the original. Seismic and punchy, it has the tone that made the P Bass one of the most popular electric basses. The "Vintage C"-shaped neck has a 7.25"-radius fingerboard with 20 vintage-style frets for classic playing feel. A vintage-style, 4-saddle bridge with threaded saddles and vintage-style tuning machines provide original-era aesthetics, rock-solid performance and tuning stability. Other features include an anodized aluminum pickguard, chrome hardware and 4-bolt neck plate. Includes a deluxe gig bag.

Fender Vintera 50's Precision Bass

I had researched this instrument quite a bit before I purchased it, so there weren't any surprises, really. I've never had a P Bass before, but I like it a lot. I got it in Dakota Red. That's the only one of the finishes that I liked, so I'm glad it was in stock. The gold pick guard looks great against tha body. It arrived in less than a week from when I ordered.

GREAT BASS

Bought the sea foam green , the bass is gorgeous , the finish with the maple fretboard catches your eye right way , right out of the box was ready to play , the bass is flawless , the frets smooth the craftsmanship is very good , the sound is very full nice warm sound and growl , the weight is back friendly and the bass is well balanced , this bass is a gem , and will not dissapoin5 , it's a lot of fun to play ...
