Excellent sounding small amp!

This is a great practice or small venue amplifier with a lot of sound shaping controls. Do not ask it to fill a big space and you can not go wrong. Sam Ash got this out in just a couple of days and it arrived in perfect condition...something you should take for granted but don't always get with on-line shopping. I went from small amp, to headphones, to this for practicing. This is really nice.

Fender Rumble 40

Amazing little bass amp. I play in a concert band and use this amp for my bass. It has a great low end and works great with my guitars too. I did some research on the various bass amps in this price range and the Rumble was an excellent choice. Very happy with the amp. I would recommend this amp without hesitation.

Great for my purpose

Use for my solo-duo rig for bass/drum backing track and keyboard. Plenty loud enough for small - medium venues that we do. Sam Ash was very good on this purchase.

The sweet, sweet spot for practice

This little amp is plenty loud for practice or rehearsal, but it also provides excellent clean, overdriven and scooped tones. The aux input and headphone jack make it versatile for playing at home. You will not grow tired of its sound palette! All this and XLR out.

One of the best small amps.

I recently bought a Fender T-bucket bass. When I tried it out through an amp, the sales guy set me up on a Fender Rumble 40. I almost couldn't believe the sound that was coming out of this small, light amp. It was very clean and deep with all controls set flat. It is loud for 40 watts; don't judge an amp just by its wattage. It's also very light, so you'll look forward to bringing it to wherever it is you jam or gig. I have other basses, and they all sound great through this amp. The tone is warm, and clean. The tone controls are well-voiced, and the drive and level controls add a nice touch if you play with them a little. The Rumble 40 is probably the best value for tone, and portability in a practice or small gig amp. Buy one!
