Excellent MIM guitar!

This is my 1st electric guitar and I'm enjoying learning how to play on this guitar!

A good Strat

As with all the Mexican made Fender guitars through the years, these give pretty good bang for the buck. They also make a good platform for mods, without going broke.

Great Guitar

This is a great guitar, and is very well made. Price was not a major factor for me. I chose the Player over the Professional for two reasons. First, I like the smaller neck on the Player. I have average sized hands, and it is easier for me to wrap my hands around the neck of the Player. Second, I like pickups that are slightly hot with just a little bit of grit to them, and the pickups on the Player fit that bill. The pickups on the Player are not as hot, and are very smooth.

What a nice guitar and great price

What a nice guitar and great price. Fast Delivery. Thank-you!!!

Great deal on a new Stratocaster

Other than a small blemish that can't be seen unless looking for it, I can't find anything wrong with it. Plays and looks great! There was about a week for the neck to get acclimated. Such an upgrade.

Fender Player Series Strat

I bought a Fender Players Series Strat from Sam Ash Used a few months ago. I like the guitar, it's black with a maple fret board. The action seemed too high for me and I had trouble playing bar chords up the neck. Luckily I have a good friend who is a great guitar tech. After 3 set ups, he finally got the neck adjusted properly. He mentioned that the truss rod did not appear to be engaged. Now its playable and I am happy with it. Hope mine was just a "one off" problem.

Great Guitar from Fender, the Players Series Strat

I bought this Players Strat from Sam Ash in Used Condition. By far the best used instrument I have ever bought and I have bought many. This guitar is very, very close to the old American Standard. Great build quality, pickups and sound. Definitely a keeper. The maple neck and finger board are smooth and very easy to play. Thank you Sam Ash for a great addition to my collection.

Surprisingly Close to an American Standard Strat

With the new Player series it seemed on paper like Fender had essentially re-created the discontinued American Standard at in their factory in Mexico - and when I finally had one in hand this is largely the case. No, the fingerboard does not have rolled edges, and the pots are not from CTS...but you are getting most of the way there with Fender's least expensive guitar for 2018. The new pickups are very similar to American single-coils, and sound great with more bite than the ceramic magnet pickups from the MIM Standard. Even the bridge is identical to the last two 2016 American Standard Strats I've worked on, down to the same block and seemingly identical bent steel saddles. If components are sourced from different places, I can't tell. Even the body is now routed HSH for improved upgradability. Overall I'm blown away with what you can get at this price, and finally the 22-fret neck is not exclusive to more expensive guitars.
