As a left-handed player, Jimi would to flip over his right-handed guitars and restring them to accommodate his left-handed playing, which resulted in a "reverse" headstock and reverse-slanted bridge pickup. These two unique features are faithfully replicated on this Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster model. The "reverse" headstock results in a longer string length for the bass strings, which gives the guitar a tighter playing feel as well as easier bending and vibratos on the treble strings. A set of American Vintage '65 single-coil pickups feature a reverse-slant bridge pickup, which gives this Strat a distinctive tone with a tight, warm sound and enhanced harmonics and definition up in the treble range. Honoring Hendrix's unrivaled legacy, the Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster sports a large '70s-style headstock featuring Jimi's instantly recognizable signature on the back along with a distinctive neck plate that bears Hendrix's silhouette along with the engraved inscription, "Authentic Hendrix".

Other features include an alder body, a superbly playable 9.5"-radius "C"-shaped maple neck with medium jumbo frets for comfy chording and extreme bending without fretting out, modern 5-way switching, aged white plastic parts, and nickel/chrome vintage-style hardware.
