The Champion 20 is a solid state amplifier that pushes 20 watts into a single 8” specially designed speaker, making this the ideal choice for a practice amp. This single channel Champion 20 features World-renowned Fender clean and overdrive tones plus a selectable amp voice, providing you with an assortment of British and modern amp tones and distortion flavors. Aside from being able to chose your amp tone with the turn of a knob, the Champion 20 offers a diverse palette of effects including reverb, delay/echo, chorus, tremolo, Vibratone and more. The Champion even features an easy-to-use TAP button for effects that need to be set, such as delay time or tremolo speed. These great amp voices and effects make it easy to dial up just the right sound – from jazz to country, blues to metal and more.

The Champion 20 employs an 1/8” auxiliary input which will allow you to jam along with your favorite songs via media player and houses an 1/8” stereo headphone output for silent practicing. I have a 75w Modeling Amp. I have a 50w Tube Amp. I was seeking a practice amp, for the bedroom, in addition to a small travel amp. This Fender Champion 20 is a perfect fit for what I was seeking. The build quality is terrific. The amp has a plethora of sound options as well. It sounds a bit smaller in sound however it is small and sounds great for the size.

Very pleased with overall tone and modeling on Fender clean tones. Not as interesting on the british or metal overdrive tones. If you want those, dont buy a Fender. Upgraded to a Celestion 8 15 for another $30 and it really is a lively little amp now.

Great small practice amp. It has an auxiliary input for a backing track/song to play along with and it also has an earphone jack so you can practice almost in silence. I live in 2 small condos and I bought this amp for each of them. The amp also has some nice sound effects. All for $99!!!

I've still got my '71 all tube Twin Reverb, but I can't play it without deafening everybody in the house. This has a nice Gain knob for some Overdrive, some pretty decent simple modeled effects for cabs and effects. A great bargain at the price, and plenty loud for smaller rooms if you want to take it on the road for coffee shop size places.

For the price, you can't beat this amp for practicing. The integrated FX functions are also a decent idea for those looking to dabble in the effects world without investing in pedals. The effects are "okay," nothing to write home about, but beginners can have a little fun while learning to play. The amp is plenty loud enough for home practice, and coffee shop type venues.
