This is a great amp for blues, jazz and country styles. It's also a pretty decent amp for many other genres, although (in my humble opinion) its tone is ideal for cleaner, clearer picking. The amp has great tone for the price (I would suggest buying used before considering purchasing a new unit) and holds up to wear/tear reasonably well. Just be ready to lug it around... or hire roadies...

This was my first stage amp in 1967 and this baby can be heard for miles and very clean . It is very loud considering it had only 4x10's and tubes. It would easly compete with the big stacked units. As a matter of fact I traded it for a custom stack and I was disapointed and wish I kept the fender super.I also only paid [$] back then in 67 so the price is reasonable.

i just bought it and it sounds great .just like i remember playing in the sixties. great surf sound and dwayne eddy tones worth every penny.
