This has all the pros of a "shred guitar" while offering so much more. The clean tones out of this thing are great, especially with the Jazz pickup in the neck slot. The Seymour Duncan's coming in this straight from the factory is a huge plus. The neck is not as thin as I would have initially expected, but it's still relatively thin compared to the vast majority of guitars on the market, and the pao ferro fret board is the perfect mix between rosewood and ebony (this is my first guitar with a pao ferro fret board and after having this for about 3 months now, I can say I'm a big fan). It's made with great craftsmanship, and with the proper gear you can literally get any sound you want out of this guitar. My ONLY knock is that I wish this had more sustain. That being said, this is a very light guitar, so I can't say it's much of a surprise, and once you're used to it you seldom notice this. Overall a great buy!
