This has to be one of the best basses made in existence. First of all, the look of it is unique. I can't play it without admiring the wood grain. Second, being neck-thru, it has nice sustain and tone. The ebony fingerboard is such a great feature. It's really hard, so it makes notes pop out slightly different than rosewood. The pick-ups aren't EMG quality, but still can dish out some serious low frequencies. The only cons would be its weight being a little heavy and the fact that the neck is not as thin as an Ibanez (but only by a few millimeters). In my opinion, this is ESP's greatest bass.
