This guitar is very well made. The balance is excellent, and it's lightweight. The fretwork is smooth, no sprouting. The Floyd is a good model, and installed correctly. It comes with 9 Gauge strings, and tuned easily, and played very well right out of the box. I play heavy music, so I replaced the strings with Cobalt 10-52s, adjusted the neck and trem, and added one of the supplied them springs (comes set up with 3 for the 9s). The double acting truss rod is very responsive, and all the Allen wrenches are also supplied. It really stays in tune well. I've beat, and hammered the snot out of it, and it stays true. Hang it on the wall, the next day it's still in tune. Really stable instrument! The EMG 81/85s are nice, and are the solder free type for easy swapping, however, I installed a set of Black Winter Seymour Duncans as I like the passives, but that's just me....but, the finish. The paint is absolutely amazing! There's not a picture that shows what it really looks like, and it's sick! Normally, it almost looks black, and depending on the angle and light, it's a demony purple to blue shift. I wasn't sure I would like it, but it's far exceeded my expectations.... My only complaint it that the case is bulky, and is the same case for all ESP Vs, however, it is well made..... It's a sick guitar.
